The food is consistently great! We always get the boat and it's a AMAZING DEAL!!! We've even come here with the extended family to celebrate my husband's birthday twice because the service and the hospitality is so great! Can't recommend them enough!!!

The 1st time we came to Toyo Sushi I didn't do a review but not because I didn't like the food or service but because I forgot to take pictures. I devoured my food and drank with my hunny and David (Owner)and completely forgot about the pictures. Everything we tried was delicious, fresh and made with such heart. We enjoyed our 1st visit that we came back the following weekend with our friends and they loved it. The owner and his wife make you feel welcomed and treat you like family. I will definitely be coming back here soon. Thank you to David, his wife and all the staff for making our experience there so great.

I've been knowing David and Julia for over 25 years. This is the best sushi restaurant in the south bay. Customer service and hospitality goes way beyond measure. The chefs are amazing! The quality of sushi is phenomenal and the way the chefs use their ingredients are masterful. I got caught up in eating that I forgot to take photos of the food. I will post again with pictures.

It was really delicious! My friend had her birthday there and the owner was very kind and accommodating. Sashimi was very thick and fresh! The owner even showed us the tuna he served us! Best sushi experience I've had around this area (:

19Oct23, one of the best sushi places in torrance LA, fresh great surving size and good prices. We ordered a lot

This is one of my favorite spots to get a lobster roll. Its packed with flavors! I found this place by mistake. 2nd time here. It's not very popular. It's my hidden gem. Service is very good, clean overall It's a great sushi place has many options.

Fantastic. The poke roll was probably the best poke we've ever had, and we didn't even try their actual poke bowl! Next time for sure. The Super Toyo roll, Baked Salmon, and Sushi Burrito roll all hit the spot. Also massive compared to other sushi places we are used to size-wise. Very satisfied with the meal and putting this on our go-to list.

I love Japanese food and I am been in a few Japanese restaurants around the world but not in Japan yet and I can tell you that this is just one the best around the county and I am not talking just about sushi and sashimi but try the baked mussels and you’ll understand what I am talking about; I was born close to a lake where they harvest mussels and we also use to bake them and God forgive me if I deny my Sicilianity but I can tell you that these mussels here at Toyo Sushi are the best I ever had, no joke. I got some rolls, sushi and the baked mussels and everything was so good, next time I’ll let my wife driving because I need to re-enjoy this restaurant with some wine or beer.
